Charles-Henri and Emmanuel FOURNY, the fifth generation of winemakers, took over the family estate in 1993. As they like to remind us, these two brothers are complementary and complementary, crafting fresh and unadorned champagnes that reflect the complexity of the terroirs from which they originate. Emmanuel is the oenologist of Maison Veuve Fourny and manages the vineyards and wine. Charles-Henri, on the other hand, takes care of the estate, assisted by their mother, Madame FOURNY. Their vineyards, located in the Premier Cru village of Vertus (Côte des Blancs), are planted on different soils and exposures, forming a true patchwork of terroirs and expressions.
The Grands Terroirs Cuvée showcases all the know-how of Maison Veuve Fourny with its blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The Blanc de Blancs Cuvée, on the other hand, is made from Chardonnays hand-picked from old vines over 40 years old from various plots of the Premier Cru terroir of Vertus. It is marked by exceptional elegance and great purity. The Cuvée R, for its part, pays tribute to one of the founders of the House, Roger Fourny, and to the unique know-how for the old-fashioned winemaking of the House.
