The Charles Heidsieck champagne house was founded in Reims in 1851. It has established a champagne range of rare quality and unique style, aimed above all at discerning champagne lovers.

Complex and intriguing, the Brut Réserve Charles Heidsieck is distinguished by its elegance, texture and length on the palate. The Blanc de Blancs is ideal as an aperitif, brilliantly bringing together two opposites: the tension and freshness of young Chardonnays, combined with the generous silkiness of Charles. Blanc des Millénaires 2014 expresses with intensity and elegance the essence of time for Maison Charles Heidsieck. Ten years of patience and the expertise of three cellar masters have shaped this masterpiece from the Côte des Blancs. A journey through time and texture, from chalky terroirs to our thousand-year-old Crayères.

CHARLES HEIDSIECK STYLE

Known for his eloquence, ardor and elegance, Charles Heidsieck has managed to transmit his personality to his champagnes. Charles Heidsieck wines open the door to a world of complex aromas, skilfully harmonized with one another, and undeniable elegance.

Each Charles Heidsieck champagne possesses its own personality, thanks to the exceptional know-how that goes into blending the wines of the year with reserve wines that have been kept in reserve for an average of 10 years, selected for their aromatic potential. As a result, Charles Heidsieck champagnes have a unique texture, the hallmark of the Charles Heidsieck style.

CHARLES HEIDSIECK'S LEGENDARY VINTAGES

Before talking about the cuvées, let's talk about how they are created.

Charles Heidsieck wines are created with respect for Champagne traditions. Particular and constant attention is paid to soil preservation and ecosystem-friendly practices, which has led to the Maison Charles Heidsieck's vineyards being certified as sustainable viticulture. The vineyard is also certified "Haute Valeur Environnementale". Charles Heidsieck thus perpetuates organic agriculture. This philosophy is applied to all of the sixty or so hectares in the Marne and Aube regions that the House owns and cultivates.

What's more, in 1867 Charles Heidsieck cleverly acquired the Crayères site in Reims, thus finding one of the best, if not the best, place to store his bottles of champagne. Indeed, Les Crayères de la Maison Charles Heidsieck has no noise, no light and an optimal, stable temperature, enabling the champagne bottles to evolve in harmony. Most bottles are stored here for at least 4 years, others for over forty.

As a result, prestigious Charles Heidsieck cuvées have emerged from Les Crayères, including the Collection Crayères 2020, Bruts with the Brut Réserve cuvée, Brut Rosé, Blancs charles heidsieck such as Blanc de Blancs and Blanc des Millénaires Heidsieck, and Charles Heidsieck vintages! These include Rosé Millésime 2008, Brut Millésime 2012 and Brut Millésime 2008. There are also Coteaux Champenois 2021 and 2019.
