      Description

      The Charles Heidsieck Brut Réserve is something of a revolution in the history of Heidsieck.

      With its blend of 60 crus from the current vintage plus 40% reserve wines averaging 10 years of age, this cuvee replaced the former Brut Reserve. The significant percentage of wines from previous vintages plus the 8 year maturing period in the Charles Heidsieck cellars ensure that the unique and inimitable style of the Brut Réserve is perpetuated.

      The Brut Réserve Charles Heidsieck is deep, rich gold in colour with exceptionally fine effervescence. The nose is uniquely fascinating with its aromas of roasted coffee beans, brioche and patisseries, combined with hints of ripe mango, apricot and dried fruit.

      This is a champagne that delivers itself up totally in the mouth with its richly smooth, almost creamy texture, its precision and elegance and its sublime notes of praline and vanilla on the finish.
