The story of Maison Valentin Leflaive began several centuries ago in Burgundy, in Puligny-Montrachet. A family adventure guided by the love of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and by the quest for precision in the expression of terroirs. Since 2015, this adventure continues in Champagne, in Oger, at the heart of the great terroirs of the Côte des Blancs. The know-how of the parcel approach is perpetuated, from vineyard work to vinifications, and offers an unprecedented journey through the lieux-dits and crus of the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims. Aging on lees in vats or Burgundian barrels helps reveal the full complexity of Valentin Leflaive's cuvées.
Valentin Leflaive champagnes offer a sensory adventure with tension and freshness as the common thread. Among the Signature cuvées, we find the CV 19 cuvée, which embodies the elegance and complexity of great Blancs de Blancs, or the MA 17 cuvée, which combines the finesse of Chardonnay with the richness of Pinot Noir. Then the range becomes increasingly precise and offers an authentic expression of each terroir. The Le Mesnil-sur-Oger cuvée is the perfect example, embodying all the minerality and elegance of this iconic terroir of the Côte des Blancs.
