      Description

Cuvée Comtes de Champagne Rosé is a real nugget.

Taittinger's prestige cuvée is made in the cellars of the former Saint-Nicaise Abbey in Reims, which dates back to the 13th century.

Cuvée Comtes de Champagne Rosé Millésimé 2005 is composed of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay. The Pinot Noir grapes, part of which (12%) is vinified as red wine, come from Grand Cru terroirs on the Montagne de Reims.

Only wines from the first press, the Cuvée, an absolute guarantee of finesse, are used.

This champagne has a deep pink color, with hints of violet. Its bubbles are fine and lively.

Cuvée Comtes de Champagne has an intense nose, with aromas of ripe red fruit. There are also notes of quince paste, violet candy and pear.

On the palate, Taittinger's Comtes de Champagne Rosé 2005 has a full, rich attack. It's a slightly vinous champagne, with the red fruit aromas of the nose.

The expressive finish is dominated by notes of licorice.
