      Description

Cuvée Comtes de Champagne is one of the world's finest wines, made only in extraordinary years.

Taittinger's prestige cuvée is made in the cellars of the former Saint-Nicaise Abbey in Reims, which dates back to the 13th century.

Cuvée Comtes de Champagne is a blanc de blancs made from Chardonnays Grands Crus from the Côte des Blancs.

Only wines from the first press, the Cuvée, an absolute guarantee of finesse, are used. A very small proportion of the wine (5%) is aged for 4 months in new oak barrels.

Cuvée Comtes de Champagne 2005 is a pale gold color studded with light, fine bubbles.

The nose is intense, with gourmand and pastry notes.

On the palate, the attack is straightforward, with good tension, structure and a touch of fruity wood. The mid-palate is greedy and suave, with ripe fruit flavors such as pink grapefruit.

The finish is long, rich and complex, always accompanied by a lovely freshness.

Comtes de Champagne 2005 Taittinger is a very expressive, generous and ample cuvée.
