The Champagne Pommery Brut Royal in magnum is one of the most iconic cuvées of the house, perfectly reflecting the fresh, lively, and refined style that has made Pommery famous. Presented in an elegant case, this magnum is ideal for exceptional celebrations or to accompany sophisticated aperitifs.
The Pommery Brut Royal in magnum is the result of a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier. Chardonnay, which is the majority in this cuvée, gives the champagne remarkable freshness and unparalleled finesse. Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier add structure and roundness to the ensemble. The grapes come from 40 prestigious crus located in renowned terroirs, notably on the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims, known for the quality of their vines.
Vinification is carried out in stainless steel vats, preserving all the freshness and vivacity of the aromas, which are marked by fruity and floral notes. The prise de mousse takes place slowly in the underground cellars of Pommery, located 30 meters deep, where the stable and naturally cool temperature favors the formation of fine and delicate bubbles. The Brut dosage ensures a perfect balance between vivacity and roundness.
The Pommery Brut Royal in magnum displays a pale yellow color with subtle green reflections, a sign of its freshness and youthful character.
Its nose reveals a beautiful freshness, with aromas of citrus and white flowers. As it aerates, notes of small red fruits come to complexify the bouquet, bringing depth and gourmandise.
On the palate, the Pommery Brut Royal champagne in magnum offers an attack that is both ample and lively, with flavors of citrus and red fruits. The finish is long and refreshing, leaving a persistent and pleasant impression on the palate.
The magnum format, with a capacity of 1.5 liters, offers many advantages for champagne tasting. Due to its larger volume, champagne in magnum ages more slowly, thus better preserving its aromas and promoting more harmonious maturation. This format is ideal for special occasions and allows serving about 12 to 16 glasses, making it a perfect choice for parties and moments of sharing. Moreover, the presentation of a magnum on a table always impresses with its majestic appearance, adding a touch of prestige to any reception.
The price of the Pommery Brut Royal champagne in magnum is 98,95 €. This price reflects the quality of the grapes used, the care taken at each stage of production, and the elegance of the packaging. The Brut Royal in magnum is an excellent value for a champagne of this caliber, offering a refined and memorable tasting experience.
