The Henriot Brut Souverain is an iconic cuvée of the Henriot champagne, offering unique complexity and precision. Its main note of fresh citrus makes it perfect for moments of celebration.
The Henriot Brut Souverain is a skillful blend of the three main Champagne grape varieties: approximately 45% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay, and 15% Meunier. This cuvée reflects the diversity of the House's terroirs, with 29 different crus, and combines 50 to 70% of wines from the year with 30 to 50% of reserve wines. The grapes come mainly from the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims.
The vinification of the Henriot Brut Souverain follows precise techniques to ensure exceptional quality. All vinification and aging take place in stainless steel tanks to preserve maximum freshness and minerality. The wine ages for a minimum of 3 years in the historic cellars of the House of Henriot, allowing the aromas to fully develop. With a dosage of less than 7g/L, this cuvée maintains a perfect balance between freshness and complexity.
The Henriot Brut Souverain presents a golden robe with brilliant reflections and fine bubbles, testifying to its superior quality.
On the nose, this champagne offers a rich and diverse aromatic palette with notes of fresh citrus biscuits, stone fruits, and red fruits, as well as a hint of smokiness and pure chalk.
On the palate, the Henriot Brut Souverain is ample, straight, and round, with a persistent freshness that makes it enjoyable both as an aperitif and with delicate dishes. The finish is clean and refreshing, marked by persistent citrus aromas.
The price of the Brut Souverain Henriot bottle is 39,95 €. This price reflects the quality and craftsmanship of the House of Henriot, which has been producing exceptional champagnes for over 200 years. Although this champagne is not the cheapest, it offers excellent value for money for a cuvée of such finesse and complexity.
