Cuvée 82/12 by Vazart-Coquart has a very special history. It is a Réserve Perpétuelle started in 1982, and renewed at 40% each year until the 2012 vintage.
Each year, Jean-Pierre Vazart chooses the most representative Chardonnays of the vintage to include in his Réserve Perpétuelle. This cuvée reflects 30 years of life in the house's Grand Cru vineyards in Chouilly.
The champagne is kept in temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats to maintain freshness and controlled oxidation. Malolactic fermentation has been carried out, and the dosage is Extra Brut, around 1.5g/l.
Cuvée 82/12 Vazart-Coquart is an atypical champagne, with a discreet nose that opens up to floral aromas and notes of almonds and hazelnuts.
On the palate, this is a very delicate cuvée, evoking yellow fruit and brioche. The palate is very pure, very mineral, with a crisp, fresh and very long finish.
