The Salon 2013 cuvée from Salon Champagne, presented here in magnum, embodies the excellence of a unique vintage, a single grape variety, and an exceptional terroir. With its delicate aromas and exacerbated minerality, it is a legendary cuvée.
The Salon 2013 cuvée is an exceptional Blanc de Blancs, made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes from the Côte des Blancs, and more specifically from the famous cru of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. This terroir, renowned for its pure chalk and ideal exposure, gives the grapes an unmatched minerality and finesse. The vinification follows precise traditional methods, without malolactic fermentation, to preserve the freshness and expression of the vintage. The long aging on the lees, characteristic of Salon, allows the champagne to develop remarkable aromatic complexity while maintaining a refined elegance. Presented in magnum, this prestigious format enhances the aging potential and sublimates the wine's evolution.
The 2013 vintage in the Côte des Blancs, particularly in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, was marked by a late vegetative cycle. After a cool and rainy spring, the sunny summer allowed the vines to benefit from maximum sun exposure, with sunny days and little precipitation. The autumn harvest yielded Chardonnays of exceptional maturity, offering lively freshness and rare aromatic intensity. The grapes harvested from this emblematic terroir revealed typical characteristics, blending mineral tension and floral complexity, defining the Salon 2013 cuvée.
Salon 2013 reveals a sparkling golden hue with green reflections that attest to its youth and vivacity.
On the nose, this champagne offers a delicate aromatic palette, with notes of white flowers, jasmine, linden, and a hint of bergamot zest, highlighted by a typical Mesnil minerality.
On the palate, the balance is perfect, combining contained power with vibrant freshness. The flavors of baked apple, roasted hazelnuts, and salted caramel express themselves with a silky roundness and an elegant saline finish.
The price of the Salon 2013 magnum is 3 499,95 €. This tariff reflects the exclusivity of a champagne from a single cru, a single grape variety, and a single year. Each magnum is a work of art, crafted with care to satisfy lovers of great champagnes.
Connoisseurs praise the Salon 2013 cuvée for its aromatic precision and remarkable minerality. Many appreciate its evolution in magnum, which enhances its complexity and finesse. Discover the reviews of champagne enthusiasts by visiting Reviews of the Salon 2013 cuvée.
