Very fruity, this extra-brut Champagne is the perfect accompaniment to langoustines roasted with tarragon and lemon, or a filet of monkfish braised in curry.
The 2009 vintage was a very good year, thanks in particular to a warm August. As a result, the grapes began to ripen in optimal conditions. As a result, the champagnes obtained are beautifully round and delicious.
Pale gold in color, with subtle green and pink highlights.
The first nose is very fresh. White fruit notes (apple, pear) are followed by vegetal notes (boxwood). The second, much sweeter nose reveals aromas of roasted dried fruit (hazelnut, almond).
The attack on the palate is tense, then gives way to the fullness typical of the 2009 vintage. Very crisp, with praline fragrances mixed with pear notes.
