Louis Roederer
Rosé 2011 | Bottle 75cl - Box
To produce its rosé champagnes, Louis Roederer blends the two ways of making rosé in Champagne, maceration and blending: some Chardonnay juice poured into a Pinot Noir maceration, to ferment together and integrate perfectly. Cuvée Rosé 2011 has been aged for 4 years on lees, and also benefits from a minimum 6-month rest period after disgorgement to perfect its maturity. Dosage is 9 g/l. Very delicate, evanescent bouquet blending red fruits (alcoholic raspberry), chocolate notes (cocoa) and hints of dried flowers. Light, golden pink color with "tie and dye" gradations, fine, delicate effervescence. All the promise of a noble reduction bouquet! The challenge of Rosé 2011, a difficult vintage in Champagne, is perfectly met thanks to the south-facing Pinots Noirs from Cumières and the low yields, which have enabled us to achieve the right level of ripeness.
