Rosé 2009 from Louis Roederer is characterised by its fullness of fruit and aromatic breadth.
It’s a cuvee that is in the image of the year of its production : 2009, bright and radiant owing to hot weather in the month of August which launched the grape maturing period in optimum conditions.
Louis Roederer Rosé 2009 is a harmonious blend of 62% Pinot Noir and 38% Chardonnay, of which 7% was vinified in oak casks.
It is a free-run rosé, obtained by maceration of the grapes for 5 to 8 days, and dosed at 9g/l.
Rosé 2009 by Roederer is a soft salmon pink with golden gleams. With a strong fruit focus, the nose opens with black cherry, blood orange and vine peaches underlined by delicious acidulous notes, and follows with more indulgent notes of patisseries.
The smooth and fruity palate evolves with nuances of pink grapefruit and lemon zest, with nice mineral notes. Full bodied and dense, it develops hints of red fruits and a toasted finish.
Rosé 2009 by Roederer is a pure and refined champagne.
