Founded in 1930 by Marcel Ployez and his wife Yvonne Jacquemart, the family-owned Ployez-Jacquemart winery is now run by Laurence Ployez, representing the third generation. She continues to uphold the founding values of Maison Ployez-Jacquemart: tradition, high standards, and deep roots in the Champagne region. She cultivates this terroir in the Premier and Grand Cru villages of Ludes, Mailly-Champagne, Villedommange, and Vertus, which are mainly planted with Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes. In the vineyard and in the cellar, rigor is the order of the day in order to extract the best from each harvest.
Extra Quality Brut is the iconic champagne of Maison Ployez-Jacquemart. It is characterized by excellent balance, great freshness, and a very clean nose and palate. The Cuvée Liesse d'Harbonville represents the quintessence of Maison Ployez-Jacquemart. It requires special attention and is only produced in exceptional years. Aged entirely in oak barrels, it reveals great richness, a beautiful structure and incredible complexity.
