      Description

The Henriette Rosé Grand Cru cuvée from Pierre Moncuit Champagne is a champagne of indulgence and freshness. This rosé champagne reveals subtle aromas of red fruits and a light texture, perfect for an aperitif or to accompany fruit desserts.

The Making of Henriette Rosé Grand Cru Pierre Moncuit Champagne

The Henriette Rosé Grand Cru cuvée is a blend of approximately 88% Chardonnay from the Grand Cru terroir of Mesnil-sur-Oger and 12% Pinot Noir Grand Cru from Bouzy, vinified as red wine. This marriage of grapes offers a perfect combination of Chardonnay's freshness and Pinot Noir's depth.

Vinification is carried out in stainless steel vats to preserve the purity and natural expression of the grapes. After a period of aging for 3 years in the cellar, this cuvée achieves a perfect balance between freshness and complexity. With a dosage of approximately 8 g/L, the champagne retains a beautiful vivacity while revealing a soft roundness.

      The Terroir

This cuvée highlights the exceptional qualities of the grapes harvested from the Grand Cru terroirs of Mesnil-sur-Oger and Bouzy. The terroir of Mesnil-sur-Oger, located in the heart of the Côte des Blancs, is renowned for its chalky soils that give Chardonnay exceptional minerality and great elegance. In Bouzy, on the Montagne de Reims, Pinot Noir thrives on rich calcareous soils, producing powerful and generous wines with character.
