The Brut Réserve by Leclerc Briant is one of the most successful Champagne cuvées. It offers a rich and harmonious tasting experience, combining finesse and depth. Composed of three emblematic grape varieties, this cuvée embodies a perfect balance between freshness and suppleness, ideal for enhancing an aperitif.
The Brut Réserve cuvée is made from a blend of 40% Pinot Noir, 40% Pinot Meunier, and 20% Chardonnay. Part of the wine is vinified and aged in oak barrels, adding a subtle patina and delicate woody aromas. Malolactic fermentation is carried out, giving the wine complex aromas and a silky texture. Aged for a long time on the lees, this cuvée develops a rich aromatic profile while retaining great freshness. Its Extra Brut dosage, at only 4.5 g/l, reveals all the purity and authenticity of the wine.
A pioneer of organic viticulture in Champagne, Leclerc Briant continues its quest for purity and respect for the terroirs through each cuvée.
The Brut Réserve is dressed in a pale gold color, bright and luminous, with straw yellow reflections. A hue that evokes the freshness and finesse brought by the Chardonnay.
On the nose, this cuvée reveals gourmet aromas of almond paste, praline, and sweet spices. A touch of dried fruits and orange zest completes this refined bouquet.
On the palate, the Brut Réserve reveals a soft and fresh texture. The matter is full, pulpy, with well-present fruit notes and a finish marked by a citrus tension. This well-balanced acidity brings perfect vivacity for the aperitif.
The price of the Leclerc Briant Brut Réserve bottle is 47,95 €. This price reflects the attention to the selection of grapes, the commitment to organic viticulture, and the aging of this cuvée, which gives it its depth and elegance.
Champagne lovers praise the aromatic generosity and freshness of this cuvée. Its complexity and balance between richness and lightness are often highlighted in tasters' comments. Discover more reviews here: Reviews of Leclerc Briant Brut Réserve Cuvée.
