Millésime 2006 from the house of Henriot is a champagne of great gourmandise with a mineral touch.
In Champagne 2006 experienced a dry winter and a cool spring, compensated by hot weather in the months of August and September which allowed the grapes to reach good maturity levels.
The Henriot Millésime 2006 has been created from more than 15 crus of which the majority come from the Côte des Blancs (Mesnil-sur-Oger, Avize, Chouilly) and the Montagne de Reims (Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, Avenay, Verzy, Verzenay). It passed over six years in the Henriot cellars before being released.
Millésime 2006 is pale yellow in aspect with superb golden gleams, accompanied by a fine effervescence.
Gourmand and mineral aromas are joined by notes of raspberry, strawberry and fresh hazelnuts.
This is an impressively structured vintage, vivid and fresh on the attack with notes of dried fruits and spice leading to lingeringly indulgent notes of pastries (brioche, freshly baked bread, butter and honey).
