- Cuvée Pur Oger 2012 Franck Bonville is a 100% Chardonnay from the estate's finest parcels in Oger. The terroir of Oger is quite singular in Champagne. It's a terroir where chalk is found at a depth of nearly 3 meters. So it's largely from this siliceous soil that the roots draw their aromas. The result is round, generous Chardonnays with a hint of spice.
- Franck Bonville's cuvée Pur Mesnil 2012 comes from the estate's finest plots in Mesnil sur Oger. The Mesnil sur Oger grapes always produce wines with a singular style, thanks to a terroir where the chalk outcrops. These are wines that evoke fresh fruit (pineapple and citrus), but also white flowers.
- Franck Bonville's Cuvée Pur Avize 2012 is a 100% Chardonnay from the estate's finest parcels in Avize. Avize grapes are among the most prized on the Côte des Blanc, combining freshness, generosity and that characteristic creamy texture.
Franck Bonville's Pur Oger 2012 has an open nose, with notes of brioche. A nose that evokes vanilla and breadcrumbs. On the second nose, juicy yellow fruit notes stand out.
On the palate, it's round, savory and rich, with mineral freshness.
This is a champagne characteristic of the Oger terroir, generous and round.
The Pur Mesnil 2012 Franck Bonville has a nose reminiscent of citrus fruit, with a second, spicier touch. On the palate, it's straightforward and delicate, with a beautiful minerality that awakens the palate. The finish is iodized and slightly saline, the signature of its fine character.
Franck Bonville's Pur Avize 2012 has a nose that, after a few minutes' opening, evokes white fruit, mango and a touch of citrus.
On the palate, it's elegant, fresh and silky. This is a champagne characteristic of the Avize terroir, generous and long on the palate, with that lovely mineral presence.
