The Rosé de Saignée from Champagne Drappier is a powerful champagne. It is a cuvée that offers very pure aromas of red fruits. An ideal champagne to serve as an aperitif or paired with delicate dishes.
The Rosé de Saignée from Champagne Drappier is made exclusively from Pinot Noir from the Jurassic Kimmeridgian limestone terroirs of Urville, in the Aube. These soils offer a very pronounced mineral richness.
The saignée method is at the heart of this cuvée, with a maceration of 3 days to fully extract the aromas of red fruits and the intense color of the Pinot Noir. Part of the cuvée is aged in oak barrels, which gives it additional complexity. Malolactic fermentation is carried out to bring roundness to the wine. This champagne is low in sulfites and retains all its naturalness thanks to a low dosage of 4 g/L.
The Rosé de Saignée cuvée displays an intense pink color with vivid reflections, reflecting the richness of the Pinot Noir.
The nose is brilliant, dominated by pure aromas of red fruits such as cherry, raspberry, and strawberry, with a slight spicy touch.
On the palate, this champagne is structured and silky, with intense flavors of red fruits and a slight note of stone fruits, all balanced by a beautiful freshness in the finish.
The price of the Rosé de Saignée Drappier bottle is 43,95 €. This price reflects the complexity and unique character of this cuvée, obtained through the saignée method which requires great skill.
