Located in Vertus, on the Côte des Blancs, the House of Doyard crafts vigorous and striking cuvées. This family-run estate manages over 10 hectares, predominantly planted with Chardonnay in the communes of Vertus as Premier Cru, and Le Mesnil sur Oger, Oger, Avize, and Cramant as Grands Crus. The House of Doyard practices sustainable viticulture, using the least amount of inputs possible to best express the terroir. It asserts its style through harvests that are always carried out at full maturity and partial or full wood vinification.
The Doyard range opens with the Vendémiaire cuvée, which embodies the house style: a straight and pure nose followed by a full and generous palate. It continues with the Révolution cuvée, a Grand Cru, non-dosed, and 100% Chardonnay, full and generous. The Clos de l'Abbaye cuvée, on the other hand, is a wine with magnificent aging potential that will beautifully complement gastronomic dishes. Finally, special mention goes to the La Libertine cuvée, which revives the champagne as it was crafted in the 18th century, with its low effervescence and generous dosage.
