Description
Deutz Blanc de Blancs 2008 is a champagne that combines finesse, lightness and smoothness.
This cuvée is a blend of Chardonnay from the terroirs of Avize (51%), Le Mesnil sur Oger (41%) and Villers-Marmery (8%), terroirs renowned for their excellence.
Blanc de Blancs 2008 benefits from an excellent vintage, 2008, which offers superb ageing potential and great freshness.
The color is sparkling and limpid, with bronze highlights. The effervescence is fine, dense and regular.
On the nose, Deutz Blanc de Blancs 2008 offers notes of ripe citrus fruit, and a touch of white flowers characteristic of Blanc de Blancs champagnes.
On the palate, it reveals notes of citrus, hawthorn and a fine mineral presence.
The wine is well-structured and remarkably mineral, and its long finish suggests great ageing potential.
