The Making of Deutz Blanc de Blancs 2018 Champagne

The Blanc de Blancs 2018 is crafted exclusively from Chardonnay, the emblematic grape variety of Champagne. The grapes come from the prestigious Grands Crus of the Côte des Blancs, including Avize, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, and Chouilly, as well as Villers-Marmery on the Montagne de Reims. These terroirs give the wine a mineral freshness and great elegance.

Vinification and aging take place in stainless steel vats, a method that preserves all the freshness and aromatic purity of the Chardonnay. After a long aging on the lees of at least 48 months, this cuvée reaches optimal maturity. The dosage is light, with 7 g/L, providing a perfect balance between vivacity and roundness.
