Description

The Grand Vin des Princes 2000 from Champagne De Venoge is a Blanc de Blancs created from Chardonnay grown on some of the greatest grand cru terroirs of the Côte des Blancs.

This particular cuvee was conceived for the Princes of Orange, and was only available to the public from 1858 onwards.

The Grand Vin des Princes has, since 1961, been presented in a specially designed bottle in the form of a decanter, as a reminder of the way it was served in the XIXth century.

The Grand Vin des Princes is still to be found on the greatest royal tables, for example at the court of the Emperor Akihito of Japan.

The Grand Vin des Princes 2000 from De Venoge gleams like burnished gold and exhales supremely fresh and delicately floral aromas.

The vivacity and outstanding elegance of the palate are complemented by its excellent complexity and structure.
