In November 2017, the Princes Blanc de Blancs obtained a score of 91/100 awarded by the Parker guide, one of the best scores ever given to a non-vintage champagne !
The Cuvée Princes Blanc de Blancs from Maison de Venoge is a sumptuous nectar made only from Chardonnay from Premiers and Grands Crus (Mesnil sur Oger, Trépail). Very fresh, it will go perfectly with an aperitif or a light starter.
Its elegant, decanter-shaped look alludes to the crystal bottles used by the 20th century aristocracy for decanting.
The color, of a pale gold, offers subtle green reflections crossed by fine creamy bubbles.
The first nose, very pleasant, presents notes of white flowers and citrus fruits. This superb freshness is highlighted by an elegant minerality.
The attack on the palate is frank and bursting with freshness. We find the same fruity and floral fragrances on which are superimposed notes of candied peach, characteristic of Chardonnay.
This exceptional cuvée has a nice tension announcing a good aging potential.
