Bruno Paillard
Coteaux Blanc Le Mesnil 2019 | Bottle 75cl
Maison Bruno Paillard's 2019 Le Mesnil cuvée is a Côteaux Champenois Blanc. This still white wine is made exclusively from Chablis-sized old vines on the mid-slopes of Mesnil-sur-Oger, which are used to light tillage, resulting in a vertical root system. Their yield, half the average for the cru, results in a particular expression of this terroir.

The 2019 vintage in Champagne was demanding, but the end of ripening took place in very good conditions, with cool nights allowing slow ripening and the preservation of good acidity. All in excellent sanitary conditions.
Fermentation takes place in small oak barrels for 9 months. It is then aged in bottle for a further two years before release.
This wine, with its exceptional minerality, is particularly recommended to accompany oysters, seafood and other shellfish. We recommend aeration before serving in a large Burgundy-style glass.
Only 546 bottles of this highly confidential cuvée have been produced.
