Bruno Paillard's Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru, presented here in magnum, is one of the house's most emblematic cuvées. It's a remarkably elegant champagne, absolutely perfect as an aperitif.

Made exclusively from Chardonnay from the Grand Cru terroirs of the Côte des Blancs, Bruno Paillard Blanc de Blancs benefits from a special vinification technique. This technique consists in adding less sugar and ferments than for a classic champagne, during the tirage preceding the second fermentation (the one in the bottle that produces the effervescence). The result is slightly less effervescence (around 4.5 kg of pressure instead of the usual 5 or 6). The result is a champagne of immense finesse and a silky mouthfeel.

After disgorgement, Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Bruno Paillard rests in the cellar for 10 months before being offered for tasting.

This champagne has a pale gold color with silver highlights. Its bubbles are astonishingly fine.

The nose is lively and floral, evoking citrus fruits (lime, grapefruit) and white flowers. The second nose reveals hints of almond and toast.

On the palate, the attack is lively, revealing a rich palette of aromas, from citrus to white fruit. Minerality is present throughout the tasting, ending with a fresh, long finish.
