Bollinger's Grande Année 2008 is a sublime interpretation of a great vintage. 2008 is a taut, chiselled vintage with magnificent ageing potential.
La Grande Année 2008 Bollinger is a blend of 71% Pinot Noir (from Aÿ and Verzenay) and 29% Chardonnay (from Cramant and Mensil-sur-Oger).
This cuvée embodies all the savoir-faire of the House of Bollinger. Vinification takes place exclusively in small oak barrels. Racking and disgorging are carried out manually, and the wine is aged under cork.
Grande Année 2008 Bollinger is a golden color.
The nose reveals notes of fruit, spices and white flowers.
On the palate, it's an intense, creamy cuvée that's a natural choice for fine food pairings. Its length and saline finish are remarkable.
