      Bollinger's cuvée R.D. 2002 is an exceptional champagne. Only the best vintages benefit from prolonged aging in the house's cellars. The 2002 vintage is certainly the best of the last decade.

      The R.D. cuvées for Récemment Dégorgé are exceptional pieces, reserved for enlightened connoisseurs who will enjoy exceptional aromatic expression and freshness.

      R.D. 2002 Bollinger is a blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay, from 23 different terroirs, 71% of which are classified as Grands Crus and 29% as Premiers Crus.

      The maturation time of this cuvée is exceptional, more than 3 times longer than the rules of the Champagne appellation. At the end of this extended ageing period, the champagne is disgorged, then dosed at an extremely low level (3 to 4 grams per liter) to allow the complexity of the aromas to unfold.

      R.D. 2002 Bollinger is a deep golden color. Its bubbles are exceptionally fine.

      On the nose, this cuvée offers aromas of ripe fruit, evolving towards a gourmand touch (honey, pastry, cocoa).

      On the palate, Bollinger R.D. 2002 has a full, fleshy attack. The palate is a harmonious blend of power, balance and persistence.

      This wine has a complex structure, combining vinosity with freshness.

      The finish is mineral, marked by a hint of lemon and fine bitters.
