Cuvée Riche "mag 18" from Maison A.R. Lenoble is a demi-sec champagne, meaning it is sweeter than traditional champagnes.
This cuvée is made from a blend of 20% Chardonnay from Chouilly Grand Cru, 35% Pinot Noir from Bisseuil Premier Cru and 45% Meunier from Damery.
In addition to the different grape varieties, this is a blend of years, with "18" corresponding to the harvest year used as the basis for the blend, in this case 2018. The mention "mag" means that some of the reserve wines have been aged in magnum, bringing precision and freshness to this cuvée.
The dosage of the Riche cuvée is high (32g of sugar per liter) to deliver a round, full-bodied cuvée.
Riche "mag 18" has a golden, almost coppery color, with fine, lively bubbles. The mousse is dense and airy.
The nose opens with notes of ripe fruit, suave and expressive.
Cuvée Riche "mag 18" A.R. Lenoble is a gourmet champagne with lovely notes of candied fruit and exotic fruit. The finish is clean and airy, enhanced by pleasant acidity. The balance between the wine and the highly integrated dosage is surprisingly fresh.
A.R. Lenoble's cuvée Riche "mag 18" goes perfectly with exotic or spicy dishes, such as Thai cuisine. It can also be paired with strong cheeses such as Epoisse or Fourme d'Ambert.
