Description

The Brut Intense "mag 19" from Maison A.R. Lenoble is a remarkable cuvée, combining freshness and gourmandise thanks to reserve wines aged in magnum.




The Brut Intense "mag 19" continues the work begun with the 2015 base. The DNA of the Intense cuvée can be found again, with the presence of the 3 traditional Champagne grape varieties. The blend comprises 40% Meunier from the Damery terroir, 40% Pinot Noir from the Premier Cru terroir of Bisseuil, and 20% Chardonnay from the Grand Cru terroir of Chouilly.

Reserve wines account for 40% of the blend, and are kept in corked magnums. The magnum allows ideal ageing, optimized by the cork, and enables the wine to develop a superb aromatic palette.

The Brut Intense "mag 19" takes its name from the unique ageing of the reserve wines, but also from the majority year of the wines, which make up 60% of the blend, and which here come from the 2019 vintage.

This champagne is dosed Extra Brut (2g/L) to preserve its freshness.

This cuvée has a brilliant, luminous gold color.

The nose is expressive, with fine notes of white fruit and hints of red fruit.

The wine is frank, full-bodied and rich, with lovely expressions of red fruit. The finish is long, with a hint of salinity that whets the appetite.

Maison A.R. Lenoble's Cuvée Brut Intense "mag 19" is the perfect accompaniment to pâté en croute, tapas or cheeses such as Salers or Comté matured for 18 months.
