The Brut Intense “Mag 17” A.R. Lenoble is a remarkable cuvée, which combines freshness and delicacy thanks to the aging of reserve wines in magnum. It is a perfect cuvée for an aperitif.
The Brut Intense "Mag 17" continues the work started with the 2015 base. We find the DNA of the Intense cuvée from the A.R. Lenoble house with the presence of three traditional Champagne grape varieties. The blend is thus based on 45% Pinot Meunier from the Damery terroir, 35% Pinot Noir from the Premier Cru de Bisseuil terroir, and finally, 20% Chardonnay from the Grand Cru de Chouilly terroir.
Reserve wines, which represent 40% of the blend, and are kept in magnum cork stopper.
The magnum allows ideal aging, optimized by the cork which lets in very little air. Thanks to the destruction of the yeasts by the enzymes of the wine, known as the autolysis phenomenon, a subtle and exceptional aromatic palette develops.
The Brut Intense "Mag 17" therefore takes its name from this unique aging of reserve wines, but also from the majority year of the wines, which represent 60% of the blend, which therefore come from the 2017 vintage.
It is a champagne that is dosed in Extra Brut (2g / L) in order to maintain a nice freshness.
The Brut Intense "Mag 17" by A.R. Lenoble is adorned with a golden color, shiny and luminous, studded with fine bubbles.
On the nose, it is a precise, elegant champagne, which offers beautiful fruity notes, then on the second nose, citrus aromas.
On the palate, it is a smooth, round champagne that envelops the palate with its fruity aromas. It is a complex, full-bodied and intense palate that stretches out onto a fruity, slightly tart and very persistent finish.
This is a cuvée that will be appreciated in particular as an aperitif.
