Description

Les Clos is a cuvée from the Maison A. Bergère collection of parcel wines. Bergère's collection of parcel wines, featuring one of their flagship terroirs, Fèrebrianges. Through his champagnes, Adrien Bergère aims to highlight the richness of the estate's terroirs. To achieve this, he selects the best vines to produce wines with character and identity, with the primary aim of enabling the wine to reveal expression and freshness.

This Blanc de Noirs cuvée is made from Pinot Meunier from an old vineyard planted in 1970 on the sandy-clay terroir of Fèrebrianges in the Petit Morin Valley. Maison A. Bergère is constantly striving to express its terroir to the full through viticulture that respects nature.

Vinification and ageing on lees are carried out in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats and 228-liter barrels. The wine is dosed Extra-Brut at 4 g/L and is not filtered to preserve all its qualities.

This Les Clos parcel cuvée, produced by Maison A. Bergère reveals an elegant aromatic bouquet with notes of ripe pears and pears in syrup.

On the palate, the wine is characterized by a fine structure, sustained by aromas of white fruit. The Fèrebrianges soil lends the wine a lovely freshness and acidity, offering a taut finish and good verticality.
