A winegrower since 1848 on the slopes of the Petit Morin Valley, Albert Bergère founded Maison A. Bergère in 1949. André Bergère then took over the estate and worked to develop the vineyard. Today, the vineyard covers 65 hectares (40 hectares in the Petit Morin Valley, 5 hectares in the Côte des Blancs and 20 hectares in the Aisne) and focuses on the three Champagne grape varieties (70% Chardonnay, 20% Pinot Noir and 10% Meunier). Maison A. Bergère practices sustainable viticulture.

Maison A.Bergère allows the character of its terroir to express itself through its cuvées. The Origine cuvée, fruity and elegant, comes from the terroirs of the Vallée du Petit Morin, on limestone, sandy and clay soils. The Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru cuvée is a blend of the greatest terroirs of the Côte des Blancs and is distinguished by its great freshness. Among the unique wines, we should mention the Solera Blanc de Blancs, produced from the limestone soils of the Petit Morin Valley and the Sézannais region and made from a perpetual reserve started in 2013. It is distinguished by its complexity and generosity.
