Cuvée Paradis 2008 is the epitome of Alfred Gratien's savoir-faire. It's a remarkably precise champagne, a cuvée that blossoms with fruity, gourmet aromas.
Cuvée Paradis 2008 is a blend of 65% Chardonnay and 35% Pinot Noir, exclusively from Premiers and Grands Crus.
True to the house style, this cuvée is vinified and aged in small 228-liter oak barrels. As with the rest of the range, the Cellar Master has chosen not to carry out malolactic fermentation in order to preserve the purest expression of terroir, retain freshness and offer great ageing potential.
Cuvée Paradis 2008 is pale yellow in color. Its bubbles are fine and lively.
The nose is full of freshness, with aromas of citrus fruit and white flowers. After a few moments, as it opens, more gourmand notes emerge.
On the palate, Cuvée Paradis impresses with its broad aromatic palette. The palate is precise, silky and elegant. The quality of the acidity magnifies the wine's silky texture, and the effervescence adds a great deal of curvature to the whole. Everything seems perfectly in order, with great refinement and an airy style.
The finish is clean, sharp, vibrating for long seconds on the palate.
