Alfred Gratien's Cuvée Paradis Rosé is a fruity, gourmet champagne to accompany a cocktail party or a fine white meat.
This cuvée is a blend of 63% Chardonnay and 37% Pinot Noir. Vinified and aged in small 228-liter oak barrels, Cuvée Paradis Rosé has not undergone malolactic fermentation, to let the terroir express itself and maximize the wine's ageing potential. The dosage is 8g/l.
This champagne has a beautiful copper color, dotted with fine bubbles.
The first nose reveals light floral and chalk notes. Gradually, fragrances of saffron, toast, orange peel and red fruit emerge.
On the palate, the attack is fresh and full, with an ample mouthfeel carried by a chalky touch, and highlighted by an accent of vinosity and a creamy texture.
