      Description

      Alfred Gratien's Blanc de Blancs 2009 is a champagne of great freshness and precision.

      This cuvée is made from Chardonnays from terroirs classified as Premiers and Grands Crus. These terroirs are essentially located in Avize and Cramant.

      This Blanc de Blancs 2009 is vinified and aged in small 228-liter oak barrels, without malolactic fermentation. This preserves the wine's freshness and ageing potential.

      This cuvée has a golden color studded with fine, lively bubbles.

      The first nose is open, quickly revealing notes of white fruit. After a few seconds of aeration, pastry notes emerge.

      On the palate, the attack is ample, underlined by a silky, caressing texture. The vinosity characteristic of 2009 is superbly balanced by fine acidity and light dosage.

      The finish is long, with a saline minerality.
