Description

This Cuvée Empreinte from Thevenet-Delouvin is a very fruity rosé de saignée that surprises with its freshness and minerality.

This champagne is made exclusively from Pinot Meunier, the estate's emblematic grape variety, from the "Les Rieux" parcel on the Cerseuil terroir, on the left bank of the Marne Valley, made of clay on a limestone bedrock.

The color of this Rosé is obtained through a short maceration of the berries after de-stemming. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentations are carried out in small stainless-steel tanks to fully reveal the power and brilliance of the grapes. The 3,000 bottles of this cuvée benefit from over 3 years of maturation, and are stirred and disgorged by hand. The Extra-Brut dosage is less than 4 g/L.

This cuvée has a raspberry-pink color, with a fine, delicate effervescence.

Empreinte offers a nose of raspberry and blackberry notes, highlighting a champagne of great density and complexity.

On the palate, red fruits are present with the expected crunch and greediness, underlined by the freshness and tension of a citrus finish. Fine, elegant and powerful. A singular cuvée with great personality.

This rosé de saignée by Thevenet-Delouvin is a gourmet wine that will go perfectly with prime rib, duck parmentier or veal Orloff.
