Brut Premier from the house of Roederer is a refined and refreshing champagne. Its elegant structure makes it ideal as an aperitif or to accompany fish and shellfish dishes.
Made up of one third Chardonnay and two thirds Pinot, of which 10 to 15% is Pinot Meunier, this Brut Premier is a blend of the wines from four harvests, three of which are chosen from the Louis Roederer reserve wines collection which matures in large oak casks for 2 to 5 years. The percentage of reserve wines in the Brut Premier varies from year to year, from 6 to 10%, and the cuvee is cellared for an average of 3 years.
Roederer Brut Premier is delicate in color and tinged with gold, with a fine, persistent effervescence.
The bouquet is rich and subtle with notes of hawthorn, almond and toasted bread.
The palate opens with precision and the structure is creamy.
Reserve wines confer the characteristic Roederer complexity, vinosity and smooth stylishness, with a perfect balance between the structure and fruit of the Pinot Noir and the finesse of the Chardonnay.
