Precise, fine, intense, this Grand Cru Royal vintage seems blessed by the exceptional summer of 2009. Aged in cellars for over twelve years, it draws its essence from grapes of near-perfect quality.

Grand Cru Royal 2009 is an equal blend of Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs and Pinot Noir from the Montagne de Reims.

Its pale gold color and fine effervescence exude elegance and maturity.

A discreet, very fresh first nose reveals light floral and sweet notes.

Honeysuckle and acacia flower lead to fruitier nuances of dried fig and frangipane. The Pinot Noir asserts itself within seconds with aromas of violet and blueberry.

Straightforward and remarkably mineral, this vintage offers a velvety structure reminiscent of Champagne chalk. Hints of lime blossom and blanched almonds, and toasted bread add complexity to this cuvée.

The finish is perfectly balanced, with a touch of pink grapefruit.
