Description
In exceptional years Pommery make the Cuvée Louise, a champagne created with selected grapes limited to three Grand Cru terroirs, Avize, Cramant and Aÿ.
After 7 years cellar ageing, this vintage champagne of remarkable purity, 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir, is Pommery elegance in the extreme.
The Cuvée Louise is gleamingly yellow highlighted with gold.
The bubbles are remarkably fine and are an indication of the quality and longevity of this cuvee.
The first nose offers floral notes joined by yellow fruits and then also brioche.
The palate is lightly spicy opening gently to reveal the full range of its aromatic palette with notes of almond.
A champagne of great length and grace, endowed with an extreme richness unique to this most generous of vintages.
