Description
The cuvee Wintertime from Pommery is a Blanc de Noirs, that is to say made exclusively from the black grapes Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier.
Made from around ten or so different Crus coming from terroirs all across Champagne, this complex and refined blend creates a wine of excellent maturity.
It is a wine for winter, ideal to share by the fireside, and excels as an accompaniment to traditional cuisine.
The paleness of its robe is lifted by amber highlights, and its nose is bright and incisive, with apple notes.
On the palate, Wintertime offers warm flavors of ripe fruits mingled with quince and red fruits.
