The Pommery Brut Rosé champagne perfectly embodies the subtlety and romance of the Pommery style. With its delicate color and fine bubbles, this cuvée is ideal for an aperitif, but can also beautifully complement white meat, shellfish, or a red fruit-based dessert.
The Pommery Brut Rosé is made from a majority blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Meunier. To this blend is added a Pinot Noir vinified in red, which gives this champagne its slightly salmon hue and fruity notes. The Pinot Noir comes from the vineyards of Bouzy Grand Cru, on the Montagne de Reims, renowned for their exceptional maturity.
The winemaking process takes place in stainless steel vats to preserve all the freshness and vivacity of the aromas. After blending, the Brut Rosé is taken down to the chalk cellars of Pommery, located 30 meters underground, where it is left to rest for at least three years. This long maturation in the cellar develops the complexity and elegance characteristic of the cuvée. The dosage in Brut ensures a perfect balance between acidity and fruity aromas.
The Pommery Brut Rosé stands out with a delicate pale pink color, with slightly salmon hues. Its bubbles are fine and persistent, a sign of long maturation in the cellar.
Its nose is marked by aromas of small red fruits such as raspberry and wild strawberry. This fruity freshness is underlined by the freshness and delicacy of the wine.
On the palate, the cuvée is subtle with a soft attack. The red fruit notes dominate, enhanced by a slight vivacity that brings perfect balance. The finish is long and refined, leaving a persistent sensation of freshness.
The price of the bottle of Pommery Brut Rosé champagne is 49,95 €. This price reflects the quality of the selected grapes, the care taken in winemaking, and the long aging in the cellar. An excellent value for a rosé cuvée of this finesse and elegance.
