This vintage brought together all the ideal conditions for champagne production. In 2002, the dry, generous, mild and constant climate enabled an excellent harvest, resulting in highly expressive, elegant, well-balanced wines marked by ample fruit.
The wine's deep yellow color has delicate green reflections supported by a beautiful efervescence.
On the nose, minerality is magnified by citrus aromas (grapefruit, lemon) and rounded by a note of white-fleshed fruit (peach).
On the palate, the aromatic palette becomes more assertive. Pleasant fragrances of dried fruit and vanilla are revealed, a sign of well-ripened grapes. The champagne melts into delicious toasty and slightly smoky notes.
