Pol Roger's Chardonnay Vintage 2009 is a very elegant champagne, full of finesse. This cuvée offers notes of citrus, yellow fruit and a touch of gourmandise.
The 2009 vintage is generous and full-bodied, offering a rich, gourmet expression of Chardonnay.
For the Chardonnay Vintage cuvée, the House of Pol Roger uses only chardonnays from the Grand Cru terroirs of the famous Côte des Blancs: Oiry, Chouilly, Cramant, Avize and Oger.
This champagne is vinified in stainless steel tanks to preserve its freshness. As with all our wines, malolactic fermentation is carried out to round out the aromas.
Pol Roger Chardonnay Vintage 2009 has a pale gold color with green highlights, dotted with fine, regular bubbles.
On the nose, this elegant champagne evolves on notes of citrus fruit and white flowers, apricot and almond.
On the palate, Chardonnay Vintage 2009 has a fresh attack, and quickly reveals its rich, complex aromas, including hints of green apple and citrus fruit, as well as buttery notes.
The finish is lively, long and persistent, with a hint of candied zest.
