Vintage 2008 is a blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay.
The 2008 vintage is one of the finest of the last 20 years, along with 2002 and 2012.
This cuvée benefits from traditional vinification, with the addition of a second cold settling, to preserve freshness and offer remarkable aromatic complexity.
This Pol Roger Vintage 2008 has a brilliant, luminous golden color. Its bubbles are fine and lively.
On the nose, we discover an elegant champagne, highlighted by notes of citrus, peach and apricot, as well as a touch of dried fruit. The nose is fresh and complex.
On the palate, this remarkable Vintage 2008 offers a fresh, balanced attack, carried by a creamy texture. There are notes of cookie and apricot, as well as a touch of vinosity.
A fine cuvée with an ageing potential of around twenty years.
