      Description

Cuvée Sublime Réserve 2009 from Maison Philipponnat is a dry champagne, sweeter than traditional champagnes, with notes of floral honey and candied white fruit.

This cuvée is made exclusively from Chardonnay from terroirs classified Premiers and Grands Crus. This champagne is vinified exclusively in stainless steel vats to preserve maximum freshness and lightness. Malolactic fermentation is omitted to preserve the wine's natural freshness and enhance its ageing potential.

This dry champagne is dosed at 30 g/l, which adds a suave touch, while retaining freshness and liveliness.

Cuvée Sublime Réserve 2009 is pale gold in color, with numerous flowing bubbles.

On the nose, this generous cuvée is immediately apparent. A cuvée with notes of yellow fruit, which then evolve towards notes of toasted bread and honey.

On the palate, the attack is light and balanced. The wine reveals notes of floral honey and candied white fruit, underlined by a mineral character. The palate is complex and persistent, with a vanilla finish.

The generosity of the 2009 vintage is at work, bringing greed and fruit.

Cuvée Sublime Réserve 2009 Philipponnat is a perfect match for creamy dishes: foie gras, meat, poultry prepared with dried or fresh fruit. It will also resonate well with oriental cuisine and light desserts (fruit tarts, nougats).
