This cuvée Oger 2017, by Pertois-Moriset, is a single-village champagne, full of elegance.
This champagne is made from Chardonnay from the "Le Moulin", "Terre de Noël", "Tournière" and "Fond des Noyers" lieux-dits in Oger, a Grand Cru terroir in the Côte des Blancs, renowned for the exceptional quality of its Chardonnays.
This cuvée is made from grapes harvested on September 6, 2017, of which 10% are vinified in oak barrels and 90% in stainless steel tanks.
As with the House's other cuvées, malolactic fermentation is blocked in order to preserve the wine's beautiful acidity, freshness and tension, giving it a longer, more saline finish.
After bottling on June 28, 2018, the bottles were aged for 3.5 years on laths and the wine is dosed Extra-Brut, at 2 g/L to highlight the characteristics of the terroir and the cuvée, without masking them.
Cuvée Oger 2017 is produced in 3587 bottles and 150 magnums.
