Perrier-Jouët's Belle Epoque 2012 is a remarkably well-balanced champagne. It reveals all the finesse and delicacy of the Perrier-Jouët style, but also all the aromatic generosity of the 2012 vintage.
This champagne is based on a blend of predominantly Chardonnay, complemented by Pinot Noir for vinosity and Pinot Meunier for beautiful fruit aromas.
The nose reveals floral and citrus notes, enveloped by hints of pear and ripe peach. The nose is carried by a hint of minerality, coming from the great Chardonnay terroirs of the Côte des Blancs.
On the palate, we find an elegant, round attack, always supported by a fine mineral presence and freshness. The highly expressive 2012 vintage is clearly recognizable here.
