The Making of Blason Rosé Perrier-Jouët Champagne

Composed of 50% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay, and 25% Meunier, Blason Rosé reveals a harmonious blend from about 20 crus selected from the best terroirs of Champagne. The Pinot Noirs from the Montagne de Reims provide structure and power, while the Chardonnays from the Côte des Blancs, particularly from Chouilly and Avize, add a refined floral touch. The Meuniers from the Marne Valley ensure balance with their roundness.

To perfect this blend, up to 15% reserve wines are integrated, offering depth and complexity. This champagne benefits from a minimum aging of three years in the cellar and a dosage of 8 to 10 g/l, providing a subtle sweetness and great precision.

Blason Rosé is inspired by the Blason de France cuvée, created in 1955 to accompany gourmet meals. Contrary to the received idea that rosé champagne is reserved for desserts, this cuvée is designed to enhance a wide variety of dishes.
