Moët & Chandon's Grand Vintage 2015 is a generous, enveloping champagne with many aromatic layers.
Benoît Gouez, Cellar Master at Moët & Chandon, has chosen 2015 as the 76th vintage in the company's history. The year 2015 was marked by intense heat. A year that began with a mild, wet winter and continued with a hot, dry summer. Thanks to a cool late summer, the ripening process produced juicy, ripe, concentrated grapes - a spectacular vintage.
Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage 2015 blends 44% Pinot Noir, 24% Pinot Meunier and 32% Chardonnay. These wines are vinified and aged in vats.
This is a champagne with an intense, luminous color, studded with fine, lively bubbles.
On the nose, a delicate bouquet evokes white flowers, fresh brioche and fruit paste.
On the palate, the wine is immediately enveloping, its generous, full-bodied structure coating the palate. The mid-palate reveals floral notes and a hint of menthol.
The finish is very elegant, with a slight bitterness reminiscent of almond.
